i.
Occupied apartments
1.
These are apartments where the available date is occurs
sometime in the future
2.
If an apartment is occupied you may only view
it if there is a scheduled open house. Click here to see
our list of currently scheduled open houses Or by scheduling an appointment.
To schedule an appointment please look under the contact information of
the particular apartment you are interested in. If there is
no phone number provided then you must wait until that apartment becomes
vacant. However, sometimes the content on this website
changes and there may be a phone number provided at a later time that was not
originally posted. This is dependent upon the
manager’s/owner’s availability to show the apartment also.
ii.
Vacant Apartments
1.
A vacant apartment is an apartment that is not
presently occupied.
2.
Most of these apartments may be viewed by coming
to our main office at 2278 Shattuck Ave. Berkeley, CA. during normal business hours
(Between 9AM to 5PM). Where we
will provide you the keys in exchange for a valid form of Govt. issued ID which
will be returned when the keys are returned.
Please know that the majority of apartments we list are 15min or less away on
foot.

appointment please call the number provided under contact info in the listing.
The phone numbers provided change for each listing.

KNOW THAT YOU CANNOT APPLY FOR AN APARTMENT WITHOUT FIRST VIEWING IT.

ii.
Once you have selected an apartment you like you may then apply for it.
Please click here to fill out an application and print.
If you do not have sufficient amount of income (rule of thumb is 3x the
rent) then you must have also have a cosigner fill out a form.
Please click here to fill out a co-signers application and guarantee.
iii.
Please turn in your application to our office or an authorized agent along with
your application fee of $35
iv.
Note each and every anticipated occupant must turn in an application and if
applicable a co-signers form.
v. Once an application is turned in we generally
hold for 2 business days to receive any pending paperwork (i.e. roommates’
applications, co-signer forms etc.) If all applicable paper work is not
submitted within two working days (Saturdays included) we will then accept
other applications for that unit
vi.
After all paperwork has been submitted along with the application fees we will
then process this process takes 48 hours at most. If you are accepted you will
be contacted at the phone number provided..
vii. Once you have been contacted you will then have 3
working days to come in with your security deposit and if applicable first
months rent. We will tell you the amount over the phone. The first payment of
security deposit and rent must be MUST BE PAID IN CERTIFIED FUNDS. (Certified
funds being; money orders or cashiers check). At this time you will also sign a
lease.
i. If you sign your
lease after an apartment is vacant you will be given your keys at the time of
signing. If the apartment is not vacant you will be contacted that your
apartment is ready to be occupied and that you can come pick up your keys.
ii. Once
you have picked up your keys there are still some housekeeping items that need
to be attended to.
1. If applicable you should make it a point to meet with your
resident manager. A manager is there to help you.
2. IMPORTANT: You will be provided with a move in checklist. The
checklist should be returned the office within three business days.
3.
Please do not leave unbroken boxes in and around the dumpster when moving in
otherwise you will be charged.
4.
After moving in you may notice some minor maintenance repairs that may have
been overlooked if so please click here.
